SIGN UP FOR OUR FALL CSA! Sign-ups begin September 15th and the CSA begins October 1st.
Want some farm fresh vittles delivered right to your door?
We’ve taken Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) offerings to the next level. We’re talking out-of-the box stuff, here…in your box...on your doorstep. What can you expect? Seasonal produce and herbs, fresh eggs and the gardener-in-chief’s whims (soups, fresh baked breads and treats, sauces, pickled veggies and canned items, to name just some of what’s been done in the past). Created goods will be made with wholesome ingredients mostly grown on our farm. And don’t forget, our produce and poultry are Certified Naturally Grown. Why do we do this? Our CSA helps Powder Keg Farms continue growing, making and sharing our wholesome food with you and others!
How does it work? The farm delivers nomtastic foodstuffs in a cooler provided by you and takes the previous week’s empty cooler and containers back to the farm for the next weeks’ delivery. Your commitment will be for the full season of October 1 through December 28.
Deliveries Deliveries are made in a 25-mile radius of the farm right to your doorstep, or arrangements can be made for a pick-up or meet-up. See our delivery area and days page (but know they are subject to change).
Food preferences Powder Keg Farms will make every effort to adapt its offering to your preferences. We strive to accommodate you whether you’re vegetarian, sugar-free, gluten-free, have a food allergy, etc. Communication about how often you’d like eggs or what you’d like within season is encouraged and appreciated. Just let us know your needs and we’ll do our best to respect your personal preferences.See our Farmer-Shareholder Agreement for all the details and anticipated crops.
Don’t wait to sign up! Powder Keg Farms can accommodate a limited number of shares, and it’s an all-in situation, folks. Based on how happy our CSA customers are, the early bird gets the worm, so to speak—so sign up early! Households pay in full (by check, please) but we also have a flex pay option where you can prorate checks (see the agreement). There are no refunds or extensions granted.
What’s the cost? "Some-is-better-than-none" half share ($25 a week for 13 weeks): $325 "Lettuce fill your basket" full share ($40 a week for 13 weeks): $520
